We know that Thomas’s original name is Stephen, and Sonya’s was Lizzie. To be honest it’s been so long I don’t know if others had their original names exposed, but I like to wonder — as is my wont — what Gally’s was.

Here’s some options I’ve come up with. A star is next to my personal favorites.

Typically my thoughts are like either pretty short names or heavy consonant names. With some exceptions obviously. But mainly the names that come to mind kind of require a hard snap of the teeth or hit the back of the throat, make kind of long, harsher sounds. Also I tend to veer toward more old fashioned names with him.

But what do y’all think? And I dunno, maybe I’ll do this with other characters too — we shall see 👀
